Sherrie Ann Daily, age 82, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022, peacefully in her sleep.
Sherrie was born on January 3, 1940, to Garnett and Phyllis Morrow in Medicine Park, Oklahoma, she immediately brought joy and laughter into the world.
Sherrie fell in love with going to the nursing homes singing, Women’s Ministries and all activities at The Salvation Army. She retired from Walmart in 1999. Sherrie loved to scrapbook, paint, sew, play games on her phone, but mostly she loved to spend time with her family and friends. And at her first B.J. Thomas concert she some how was able to sneak a kiss from him. Sherrie was an avid animal lover, if they looked lost, she took them in. She became a Senior Soldier at the Salvation Army Church on October 20, 2001, by Major Randall Wilson. She was adamant that she never needed to wear her hearing aids or check her sugar. Her favorite saying that will be used by many “I’m 82 years old and will eat what I want, leave me alone”.
