Patrick "Pat" Danny O'Daniel

Patrick Danny “Pat” O’Daniel was born Sunday March 20, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Emory V. and Myrtle (Wessell) O’Daniel and went to his Heavenly Home on Friday March 22, 2024 at the age of 75 years and 2 days.

Pat was the oldest of five boys.  He married his first wife Dorothy K. Priest and to this union he had four children, William “Chuck Edward, Patrick Curtis, Jennifer Christine and James Emory.  Later in life he married Harriet Alice Brannan and gained four step-children.  He loved football, baseball and golf.  He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting.  He was a veteran of the united States Army and retired as a Master Sargant from the United States Air Force with over 20-years’ service.  During his military career he was awarded the following: Meritorious Service Medal. Joint Service Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Distinguished-Presidential Unit Citation, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with one oak leaf cluster,  Air Force Organizational Excellence Award with two oak leaf clusters, Navy Unit Commendation, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with one silver oak leaf cluster, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Stars, Air Force Overseas Short Tour Ribbon, Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Service Award with oak leaf clusters, NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon, Small Arms Expert Rifle/Pistol Ribbon and Air Force Training Ribbon. 

Pat is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Victor, Gene and Michael, and his oldest son, William “Chuck” Edward O’Daniel. He is survived by his wife, Harriet of the home; brother, Mack Neal of Amarillo, Texas; his three children of Healdton, Oklahoma and nine grandchildren.
