Obituary
Margie “Margy” Doris Burris of Urbana, Illinois, formerly of Healdton, Oklahoma was born, Wednesday, November 21, 1928 in Wirt, Oklahoma to Charles L. and Opal Brown Robinson and died Friday, September 24, 2021, in Urbana, Illinois at the age of 92 years, 10 months and 3 days.
Margy married Charles N. Burris on January 3, 1950 in Durant, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2001. Margy is also preceded in by her parents; a son and two brothers. She was a retired Educator, a lifelong Baptist and loved her grandchildren and outdoor activities.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Healdton, Oklahoma with Bill Baker officiating.
The family has requested that memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
