Linda Carol (Enos) Price

Funeral Services for Linda Carol (Enos) Price will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Healdton with Pastor Ed Wise officiating.  Burial will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery, Healdton, Oklahoma with Glen Pinkston, Eddie Grant, Jennifer Terveen, Jayne Campbell, David Bingman and Daniel Rainwater serving as pallbearers. Services are under the direction of John David and Laura Black Griffin of Laurel Funeral Home, 665 Fifth Street, Healdton, Oklahoma 73438.

Linda Carol (Enos) Price was the second of three children born to James Edward (Ted) and Mildred (Holland) Enos.  She was born at home in Ryan Oklahoma on March 30, 1939. Linda had struggled with cancer and had just recently been released from the hospital.  She had a good day Friday, had her hair and nails fixed and laughed.  Later in the day, July 29, 2022, at home she was suddenly overcome and passed away quickly and quietly in the arms of her daughter Carolyn at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 29 days.

Linda traveled with her parents and sister Jo Ann across the country as her father followed the pipeline business during the war years of the 40s.  They lived in Tecumseh during her teen years where she met her lifelong friend Buck Parsons. Their young family moved about Oklahoma following the oilfield until they settled in Kilgore in east Texas where they raised their family and lived most of their lives. In 1953 the family settled in Healdton Oklahoma where Linda graduated from Healdton High School in 1956.  She also found her lifelong partner, Randall Lee “Randy” Price in Healdton and they were married December 23, 1955 in the First Baptist Church of Healdton.  Linda graduated nursing school in Ardmore, Oklahoma in 1971 and was a 40-year practicing nurse.  After the loss of her husband on December 21, 2010, Linda moved back to Healdton and was living with her daughter and son-in-law in that very same house her parents built in 1953.  Linda was a devout Christian, that loved the Lord and loved people.  She was baptized in Cushing at the age of 7.  She had a kind heart, a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh.  Linda enjoyed gardening and flowers were a big part of her life.  We will all miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, Randall Lee Price, her sons Randall Lee Price, Jr. and Michael David Price and her sister, Jo Ann (Enos) Heyer.

She is survived by daughter Carolyn Jo Rainwater and her husband Daniel of Healdton, Oklahoma; son, James Richard Price and Kim Cain of Wichita Falls, Texas; brother James Ted Enos and his wife Kathryn Ann (Reser) of Ft. Worth, Texas and her lifelong, childhood, friend, Buck Parsons of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and his grandson Gus Parsons; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Daniel Rainwater of Healdton, Oklahoma; Carin Price and her children Zaedrain Dorsett Hill and ZaNyiah Rain; Jennifer Jackson and her son Weston Alexander Wilcox; Joseph Rainwater and his wife Lisa Marie and their children Aiyana, Josiah and Abigail; Joshua D. Price and his son Loki Price; Mindy Price and her 3 children Gracie, Skyler and Isabelle. She is also survived by six nieces, Millie Ann (Heyer) Cotten and her husband Russ of Monument, Colorado, Peggy Jayne (Heyer) Cotten and her husband Russ of Lampe Missouri, Carol Bernieta (Heyer) Ralstin and her husband Stan of Enid, Oklahoma, Nancy Jo (Heyer) Celmer and her husband Chris of New Haven, Kansas, Jennifer Kathryn (Enos) Teryeen and her husband Lance of Houston, Texas, and Michelle Marie (Enos) Thomas and husband Steven of Ft. Worth, Texas.
