Colter Dean Huff

Funeral services for Colter Dean Huff of Healdton, Oklahoma will be at 10:30 am Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at the Midway Free Will Baptist Church with Brother Richard Terry and Brother Jeff Shugart officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Raymond Huff, Frank Huff, Sr., Frank Huff, Jr., Joe Nunez, Bo Hall and Michael Alford serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Huff, Robert Huff and Michael Alderfer.

Colter was born Tuesday, January 11, 2000 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Raymond Dewayne Huff and Melissa Lynn Dettling and passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019, at the age of 19 years, 5 months and 7 days. 

Colter graduated from Callisburg High School in 2018. He was currently employed by Sutherland Well Service in Healdton and was a member of the Midway Free Will Baptist Church.  His hobbies consisted of archery, fishing, building electronics, riding his horse, Buck, shooting guns, watching fantasy/sci-fi movies, reading and riding his bike.  His plans were to enroll at SOTC in Ardmore this fall.

Colter is survived by his parents, Jeff and Myranda Shugart of Healdton, Raymond Huff of Madill and Melissa Lorensen of Denison, Texas; brothers, Ryan Shugart and Bo Hall; sisters, Lesliee Shugart, Jayleigh Shugart, Tori Shugart, Raven Huff-Lorensen, Annelise Lorensen, Emma Lorensen; grandparents, Steve and Ann Shugart, Kim and Lloyd Savage, Franklin Huff, Sr., Elvy Anita Huff, Bruce and Robin Dettling; several aunts and uncles including, Frank Huff, Jr., Anita Huff, Elizabeth Clary, Richard Huff, Robert Huff, Terry and Gary Smith, Cody and Adam Shugart, Jill and Tom Bromely and numerous cousins.
