Bobby Lee Carroll was born April 18, 1934 in Orr, Oklahoma to the late Richard Frank and Mamie Wallace Carroll. He departed from this life on Friday, January 20, 202 in Wilson, Oklahoma. He attended Mountain Home school and then Dundee school until the third grade. He was self-employed in the Healdton and surrounding areas as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment welder, dozer operator and farmer. He married Elsie Glenn on February 26, 1968.
Bob had no hobbies except working with the people he loved and his children and grandchildren. He always taught them that they had to work hard for what they wanted and to never let anyone take advantage of them. He worked daylight to dark, seven days a week. He would never let anyone go hungry or be without a place to bed down. He was always helping when he saw someone in need. He taught a lot of men mechanical skills including his own children. He made sure his children knew their days revolved around the job and there was never one he turned down.
Bob loved his family and even told all of his children they never had to leave home and could stay there forever.
Bob is preceded in death by his brothers, JR, Joe Howard and Billy Frank; sisters, Frankie Mae Watson and Imajean Bartee; children, Bobby Lynn, Dorwin, Judy, Sandra, Sherry Renee Skelton and Vicky Mae Camplain. He is survived by his wife of the home, Elsie; children, Retha Cook and her husband Buck, Fatima Graves and her husband Rip, Josh Carroll and his wife Erin; grandchildren, Damian Cook, Tabitha Graves, Toni Grace, Retha and Garrett Carroll; Camdyn and Tripp Cook, Kyndalyn and Kandace Pitzer, Lilith Terry and Kiera Rolen; multiple nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
